The men of Valencia Christian Center gathered today for the monthly Men's Ministry meeting, and it was all business. No fluff, just the work of planning what's ahead.
A good chunk of the meeting centered on the VCC Annual Fellowship in the Park. The men walked through logistics, talked through who's handling what, and started locking down the details that make an event like this actually come together. There's real energy building around this one.
From there, the conversation moved to other major activities coming up on the calendar. The group also spent time on something just as important as any single event: training. Men stepped up to talk about what it looks like to go out into the community and represent Christ well, how to have real conversations, how to serve without an agenda, and how to simply be present when someone needs it.
The meeting closed with a word from our Senior Pastor, Henry Pigee'. He spoke to the men about what it means to serve the community, not just in word but in action. He reminded everyone in the room of their role, both within the church and at home with their families, and that leadership starts there before it ever reaches anywhere else.
Men left the meeting encouraged and recharged, ready for what's next. If you would like to join our Men's ministry, just click here and contact us. We would love to see you there.
