There is always something in the air at VCC, but this something was special. We witnessed a beautiful moment of community, faith, and investment in the next generation.

During today's service, our college students stepped forward before the congregation to receive scholarship stipends designed to help ease the financial burden of their educational journey. It was more than just a financial transaction – it was a powerful reminder of what it means to be a church family that truly supports one another.

Pouring Into the Future

Senior Pastor Henry Pigee shared a profound truth with the congregation: when we pour into our youth, we pour into the future of God's kingdom. These aren't just words on a page; they represent VCC's commitment to ensuring that financial barriers don't stand between our young people and their God-given potential.

Pastor Pigee then led a heartfelt prayer over each student, asking God for:

• Scholastic blessings as they pursue their studies

• Safety in their travels to and from campus

• Protection and wisdom in their campus life

A Legacy of Support

The Geraldine Sheriff Scholarship has been a cornerstone of our ministry for years, helping countless students achieve their educational dreams while staying rooted in their faith. Each recipient represents not just an individual success story, but a testament to what a community can accomplish when it comes together with a shared purpose.
